SERVIÇO PÚBLICO is a series of talks focusing on contemporary artistic creation, taking place in various public spaces across the municipality of castelo branco. At each session, we invite a prominent figure from the artistic and cultural scene for an informal conversation open to the public, lasting around two hours.



the next event will take place on 11 July, between 5 pm and 7 pm, at the jardim das docas in castelo branco, featuring the dancer and creator catarina câmara.

under the theme ‘useless dances: poetics and politics in a prison context’, this conversation aims to reflect on artistic creation, the body and the practice of dance within the context of imprisonment.



the discussion will be moderated by professor and researcher diogo martins.
